2008 Powder Magazine “Photo of the Year”

This past spring Christian Pondella and I ventured into the Mammoth park to toy with some new ideas for picture taking.. I strapped the camera to my hand, put the trigger in my mouth, and hit the middle table..

It ended up landing us the cover of Powder Magazines 2008 Photo Annual, the cover of Weski (a French magazine), as well as “Photo of the Year” at the Powder awards in Aspen.. I was in Japan filming at the time, but Christian was there to accept our award. Stoked….

SIA 2008

Every year I find myself venturing to the SIA Ski and Snowboard Trade show in Las Vegas, and every year I swear it will be my last.. There are far to many friends, parties, and long nights to sneak under the radar. I think it’s safe to say I come home sick every year. This year was a 4-peat for my famous saying “I hope I never have to go back, but I’m sure I will….”

Every year I find myself venturing to the SIA Ski and Snowboard Trade show in Las Vegas, and every year I swear it will be my last.. There are far to many friends, parties, and long nights to sneak under the radar. I think it’s safe to say I come home sick every year. This year was a 4-peat for my famous saying “I hope I never have to go back, but I’m sure I will….”
