Judging by the change in colors with all the aspen trees around here I would say it’s fall, but with the 88º F temps outside it’s forcing me to think otherwise. I’m hoping the temps will drop soon so we can get some snow on the ground. Come on El Nino…

Here are some pics of the fall colors from a little hike up to Parker Lake.

Since the snow is coming soon [insert loud cheering here], Kimmy, Reese, and I decided to head out and get in a good camping /climbing trip, and I was quickly reminded how beautiful my home locality really is… The night was definitely brisk and required winter attire, but the days were delightful summer temps making the climbing awesome. And after having to bathe in a 6″ deep ice cold stream, my shower felt pretty all time as well. Hope we can make it out again before the ground is covered in snow…

The camp site… Took hours to set up.

Awwww….

Reese looking for some breaky…

Reese soaking in some rays with a messy beard.

Bouldering.

Not the comfiest place to be hanging, but it’s nice…

Chalkage..

Probably a good chance I fell… JS.

Finger pain.

Shaking and scrambling up the no fall zone.

Sunrise. She’s a beaut…

Still alluring.
