Here are some more pics from our North Cascade Heli trip with DaKine, Freeskier, and Nimbus Independent… I will keep the pics coming day by day (maybe every two days depending on my need for rest and my capability to slave away at the computer). Don’t worry guys, Ike Smith is still here.

Hello… I am home from Euro Land, well not exactly home, but at least back in the states. I’m sitting here at Pollard’s house packing for a North Cascade Heli trip with DaKine, as well as editing and resizing far too many photos. Needless to say, Europe was awesome. We had as much, if not more snow then Japan (if you missed the first En Route webisode in Japan, take a look- www.nimbusindependent.com).

The trip started off with a lot of driving, followed by snorkel required powder skiing. We were skiing in the trees of Krippenstein (with even a couple days where there was too much snow for the mountain to open). With that in mind the group decision was to find sun. So, we jumped back in the car and drove to Switzerland where we finally found sun, but unfortunately every aspect was completely wind scoured. Once again, we were back in the car and off to Austria, but this time headed to Arlberg. When we got there we found more stormy days, but saw sun in the forecast. Sure enough our last day was perfect snow and blue.

The photos will show and tell you of all the other events that took place during our travels. Webisode 2 will be dropping on the 15th of March so stay tuned…
